ARE THERE NEW SPECIES THAT YOU CAN'T SEE IN WALEA SEA?? NOT AT ALL, OF COURSE!!!!
In the last week our cute dive guide Teddy has recurrently sighted a new species of PIGMY PIPEHORSE, recently classified
under the scientific name of KYONEMICHTHYS RUMENGANI, discovered in Manado.
Until today it was sighted just in Manado and in Flores islands, but just until today!!!
This is the first picture that testify the presence of this beautiful pipefish, made by our guest CARLOTTA FALORNI, just came back to Walea.
So from today, we can add this small friend that lives in the coral at just 9 meters deep, to the other rare species that is possible see from our rich and amazing house reef, like the 5 gorgeous different kind of pigmy sea horses, including our native HIPPOCAMPUS WALEA, that until now you can see just here in Walea Protected area.
